About this role
Due to our continuous growth and development of our business we have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Floor Supervisor to join our Warehouse team in Dandenong South. This role will see you supervising warehouse floor staff and provide appropriate support to ensure that the warehouse targets and KPI's are met on a daily basis. This is an ideal role for someone who is keen to develop their leaderships skills and is self-confident and willing to bring a dynamic and positive attitude to the role. We are looking for someone who is willing to step up and learn quickly to hit the ground running.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervision of warehouse staff on the floor
  • Coordinating daily workflow across the warehouse
  • Ensuring the fulfilment and dispatch of orders are in line with company targets
  • Reporting of KPI's and metrics to the warehouse manager as required
  • Effectively coordinate transport locally and interstate
  • Conducting inventory/cycle counts as required
  • Fulfilling the duties of the warehouse manager in their absence
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and organized warehouse in line with WHS standards

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse environment
  • A valid forklift licence and a current Drivers Licence
  • Demonstrated leadership competency which includes delivering results and meeting KPIs, leading by example and having a hands on approach
  • Experience in implementing and following WHS requirements
  • Have the ability to work closely with Warehouse Managers and be part of a team
  • Experience using SAP would be advantageous but not essential
  • Strong communication skills
  • Influential skills to foster positive change
