Our Client Hurll Nu-Way is a leading provider of industrial mechanical and heating equipment solutions committed to delivering excellence in customer service and technical support. Our client is now looking for a Technical Sales Support Specialist to provide expertise in industrial mechanical and heating equipment, prepare quotes, manage projects, and collaborate with the sales team to drive business growth.

Based in Glen Waverley, the ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional technical sales support and customer service.   This is a full time permanent position with an immediate start, and would ideally suit someone looking for the next step up in their Technical Sales Support career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and technical support via phone and email.
  • Prepare accurate quotes for spares, service, and new equipment.
  • Assist in preparing tender documents to secure new business opportunities.
  • Create CAD drawings to support sales initiatives and project requirements.
  • Process customer and supplier orders efficiently to meet client expectations.

Additional Duties:

  • Manage projects to ensure successful execution and client satisfaction.
  • Offer technical and sales support to the marketing team as required.
  • Generate sales and activity reports to support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering qualification is an advantage
  • Strong technical background in industrial engineering or related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience working with industrial mechanical equipment.
  • Experience in a customer sales/customer service role is essential.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Initiative and business awareness to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Tenacity and a positive approach to change, driving innovation and adaptation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.

Personal Attributes:

  • Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong work ethic and self-motivation to achieve goals.
  • Professional and confident manner with a positive attitude towards change.

Other Requirements:

  • Competent computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D CAD software is essential.
  • Familiarity with ERP and CRM databases is desirable.
  • Clean drivers license is essential.
