Our client is Australia's leading distributor of premium audio-visual products. They import and market their brands through specialist retailers, custom design specialists and integrators across Australia, and offer a wide range of premium solutions in home cinema, multi-room AV, 2-channel hi-fi, and more.
 
THE ROLE

Our client is currently looking for an experienced full time AV Store Manager / Sales Professional to join their new team in Port Melbourne.   Ideally you will be experienced in AV Sales, be comfortable working with technical AV specialists and decision makers, be driven, motivated, and looking for an exciting challenge in this new and invigorating business.

As the AV Store Manager / Sales Professional in this brand new and exciting business,  you will work closely with the Directors, and will be pivotal in the success of this new retail venture!  

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Based in  Port Melbourne, you will be reporting to the Directors and your key responsibility will be to drive new business and account growth.

Your duties and responsibilities will include:-

Sell high-end  AV solutions - B2B and B2C
Actively seek new business while managing and growing existing clients 
Collaborate with integrators, suppliers, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end AV projects
Stay ahead of AV trends to position the company as an industry leader
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by the Directors
Identify, qualify, and convert leads within the AV markets
Create tailored AV solutions in collaboration with internal technical teams
Present quotes, demonstrate, and sell AV technology to end users and decision-makers
Develop strong vendor relationships 
Manage full-cycle AV sales, from proposal development to contract negotiations
 
IDEAL CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AV Sales, a passion for technology, and experience selling  AV integrations, and possess:-

Proven experience in AV sales 
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.  Outstanding presentation skills
Possess an excellent understanding of AV systems Comfortable discussing at all levels
Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Self-motivated and target-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities
Have excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
