Reporting to the Branch Manager, this role is based in Toowoomba. As a Diesel Pump Technician, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel pumps. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the performance and reliability of diesel-powered vehicles, enabling us to uphold our commitment to quality service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics on diesel pumps to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Conduct precision repairs and adjustments on diesel pump systems to ensure optimal functionality.
Overhaul and calibrate diesel injectors using specialised tools and equipment.
Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions for enhancing diesel engine performance.
Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities for documentation purposes.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards throughout all repair and maintenance procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have:-

Proven experience 3-5 years working with diesel pumps in an automotive or related industry.
Experience with Bosch, Zexel and Denso fuel injection pumps highly regarded.
Diesel Fitter, fuel injection systems or similar mechanical qualifications required.
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection systems and pump operations.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Drivers Licence is a must.
