Role Overview


Our Tax division currently has a newly created role available for an Experienced Tax Consultant either on a full-time or part time basis. If you are looking to work in a dynamic and growing team, focused on providing expert tax advice to large private groups and listed companies, operating throughout Australia and around the world, then we have the role for you!


You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with tax partners to deliver high-quality, specialty tax services to an extensive and varied client base. If you are looking to build client relationships, work in a supportive team and progress your career, then we encourage you to apply. 


Key Duties & Responsibilities


Your duties will include:

  • Building and maintaining excellent client engagement and relationships
  • Working with partners to provide a broad range of value adding advice across a range of taxes 
  • Preparation and/or review of Private Binding Rulings 
  • Preparation and/or review of Tax Effect Accounting Calculations and Consolidated Income Tax Returns 
  • Preparation and/or review of Fringe Benefit Tax Returns 
  • Assistance with M&A transactions and restructures 
  • Assisting in delivery of technical training 
  • Consulting to various internal divisions regarding taxation issues 

About You

Experience working in a professional services environment in a Tax Consultant to Manager position or broader Accounting role with 1 5 years experience will be highly regarded. Further, a bachelors degree in Accounting or a similar discipline and a CA/CPA, CTA or MTax qualification (or well advanced in completing one) is desired. 


You will have an excellent sense of professional and personal achievement to deliver work to a high standard and demonstrate strong initiative and motivation to complete work productively. 

Your ability to build relationships with both colleagues and clients, foster high morale and commitment will make you an excellent team player. You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator, with a high attention to detail and the ability to prioritise and manage your time to meet deadlines.
