Reporting to the Branch Supervisor, this role is based in Toowoomba. You will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel motors. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the performance and reliability of diesel-powered vehicles, enabling us to uphold our commitment to quality service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostics on diesel motors and the mechanical parts of trucks, and other heavy vehicles to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
Conduct precision repairs and adjustments on diesel motors to ensure optimal functionality.
Reassembles engines and parts after being repaired
Collaborate with the team to develop innovative solutions for enhancing diesel engine performance.
Maintain detailed records of service and repair activities for documentation purposes.
Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards throughout all repair and maintenance procedures.

The Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have: -

Proven experience 2-3 years working in an automotive or related industry.
In-depth knowledge of diesel engine systems, including fuel injection systems.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues.
Strong problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail.
Drivers Licence is a must.
