About this role

Due to our continuous growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Tool Repair Administrator. Working in an exceptionally fast paced and creative environment, you will support the Technical Support Team, our sales force and our customers regarding powered tool troubleshooting and repair.

Reporting to the Head of Technical Support, your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Liaising with sales reps and customers with regard to powered tool operation, performance and servicing. The range of powered tools include pneumatic, cordless and 240v tools, as well as torque measuring tool maintenance and calibration.
  • Processing tool repair orders and invoicing, both retail and warranty, from the initial inspection to dispatch stages in a timely manner using WS-1.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all tool repairs in the Technical Support Portal in a timely manner.
  • Liaising with internal and external customers and authorised repair agents via phone and e-mail in relation to repairs, warranties and product reports, including Return Authorisation Numbers (RAN) where applicable.
  • Obtaining approvals for any outstanding repair quotes, including liaising with customers and the sales force.
  • Creating and maintaining department process documentation as necessary.
  • Maintaining, cleaning and tidying tools and equipment as well as the tool repair areas.
  • Contributing to the maintenance of spare parts ranges for existing and future ranges of powered tools.
  • Loading price files and extending tool related articles in WS-1 as required.

 

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess:

  • High level of communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong customer service and support skills.
  • Advanced computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP.
  • A willingness to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced team environment.
  • Prior knowledge of the use of powered tools in various applications as well as a sound understanding of diagnostic and troubleshooting logic would be an advantage.
