Our client is an established leader in their field and due to recent success and growth, this energetic and dynamic team are now looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Full Time Workshop Manager / Bicycle Mechanic to join the team.

Based at their impressive Knoxfield store, you will be reporting directly to the Store Manager who heads up this successful, dynamic and supportive team who work well together.

If you are passionate about bicycles with at least 3 years experience as a bicycle mechanic experience, then this could be the perfect role for your.

Duties and Responsibilities

         Repair and Service a wide range of top end mountain bikes, road bikes and e-bikes.

         Communicating with customers by phone, email, social media or in person

         Maintaining workshop presentation

         Liaising with Senior Management to analyse financial, team and marketing KPIs to constantly develop the business model and to communicate wins and challenges as the store grows

         Developing mechanical skills and certifications to increase the scope of works and to complete workshop jobs as intended by the manufacturer

         Ordering all parts (that are not normal stock items) to  ensure repair completion

 

Ideal Candidate

 

         At least 3 years experience in a similar role

         Have previous experience in a mechanical industry highly regarded

         Ready to thrive in a fast paced and dynamic workplace

         Proven problem solving skills

         Be organised and methodical

         Ability to manage your work workload and meet KPIs

         Be a clear communicator at all levels, both written and verbal

         Strong team player who maintains strong relationships with the team and customers

         A good eye for detail is paramount for this position

         A commitment to deliver the best possible cycling experience for each customer
