This long established and growing business located in Braeside Victoria provides specialist washing and process automation equipment and services to major companies throughout Australia, New Zealand, and SE Asia. 

The Role

Working with our experienced and highly dedicated team, this role would suit a unique individual with a strong mechanical fitter/maintenance background ideally with some electrical skills and experience in electro-mechanical automation, pneumatics, PLCs etc. In this role, you will deliver exceptional repair, installation, and maintenance services to our customers. This role requires some interstate and international travel, sometimes at short notice.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Performing maintenance, fault finding, and repair services to our customers both locally and interstate, and sometimes overseas.
  • Fabrication of parts and components for the purposes of customisation and refurbishment of washing and associated equipment.
  • Large industrial washer installations, commissioning, and training. 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Strong mechanical skills is a must including TIG/MIG welding experience.
  • Competent in the fabrication of components using workshop equipment/tools.
  • Knowledge of VSD's, sensors, electronic components, PLC fault finding, pumps, motors, etc. would be viewed highly
  • Strong fault finding and diagnostics skills.
  • Current and unrestricted Drivers license is essential. 

 

The successful applicant will be an individual who can demonstrate a good work ethic, innovative thinking, and strong practical skills. As Rhima is an essential service provider, candidates will need to comply with government mandated vaccination requirements.

A generous remuneration package is on offer, dependent on skills and experience, and will include a vehicle, mobile phone, and full uniform.
