As a Traffic Engineer, you will work alongside senior staff to develop strong relationships with key partners and clients despite your experience in account management and networking not yet being fully developed. Throughout the recruitment process you will be required to demonstrate a friendly manner and an ability to be customer service focussed by your responsiveness, and excellent communication skills.
Clearly you will have a period of becoming established, and gain orientation in the group, but ultimately, you will be working towards achieve sales performance targets and preparing technical outputs.
You will also be responsible for undertaking business development activities, such as:
Reviewing leads from generation, nurture, to conversions
Assisting with a variety of marketing activities; and
Undertaking market and competitor analysis.
We are seeking applicants who will have experience with methods such as Car Parking Demand Assessments, Traffic Impact Assessments Reports, Road Safety Audits and Swept Path Analysis, and:
Hold an Australian recognised Bachelor of Engineering degree from a respected tertiary institution
Are proficient at problem solving and conflict resolution
Have excellent written and spoken English skills
Have time and project management skills
Are highly motivated, with a desire to continue to develop professionally and personally
Have a strong work-ethic
Have a sense of humour, be a conversationalist, and be able to express an opinion; and
Have 1-2 years experience, in a similar role (public or private sector).
In addition, experience with industry software, such as AutoCAD, AutoTURN, SIDRA and Aimsun is a must.
